TEEDRA MOSES
Confidence, Sexy, Gangsta', and Real are just a few
words to describe what Teedra Moses displayed on stage
May 10, 2007 at Room Service in NYC.
First off, I must give credit to her band and
background vocalists who collaberated outstandingly.
As for Teedra, standing a good 5' 2", she came out on
stage and lit up the entire room.
She starts the show with a performance of "Complex
Simplicity", which is on her first album entitled
"Complex Simplicity" (2004). Fans singing word for
word and feeling the vibe. It became a personal moment
with Teedra Moses. She came on stage and began to do
her thing.
She then performed the hit "Be Your Girl" as well as
the remix. Following up with "You'll Never Find (A
Better Woman)", another classic track from her first
album.
Her energy was so strong and genuine. It became
evident that Teedra does this "music thing" for her
fans and gives them her all.
She performed a few other tracks from "Complex
Simplicity", including "Backstroke" and "You Better
Tell Her". She then blessed the audience with 4 new
tracks from the upcoming album entitled "The Young
Lioness" due out for release the end of this year.
With her performance of "Take Me" it was intense and
soultry. Belting out and displaying her true talent,
singing real R&B.
If you weren't there you missed out on an amazing
show. You missed out on an artist who is humble yet
fabulous in her own way. You missed out on a performer
who continues to give R&B fans true music not because
she has to, but because she wants to. Most of all, you
missed out on THE YOUNG LIONESS.
